The Change Starts With You

Make A Difference To Democracy

I am the designated branch chair for the South East Cornwall constituency. This is an interim position along with that of vice chair, secretary and treasurer and the other officer's role. In time, a ballot will be held within this constituency for the election of a formal branch committee to be established for the future, to take the branch to the next general election. The branch requires people with skills in the design of leaflets and posters and social media platforms. We also require a campaign manager with experience of local and or national political campaigns.
I am looking for people to fill: Vice Chair, Treasurer, Campaign Manager. Someone who can complete risk assessments as a competent person, as and when required.
If you are interested to volunteer for this constituency, or are interested to stand as a Reform candidate in the May council elections, then please contact me.  Mobile: 07729739062 or via my email: southeastcornwall@reformparty.com You must be a member of the Reform Party. MY BACKGROUND imageMY BACKGROUND image

My career was spent within the private security sector, managing business development and marketing.  Qualified in marketing and separately in psychology, I became involved in the delivery of behavioural courses designed to change antisocial behaviour, through  cognitive behavioural based programs with groups of adults.
I was a Magistrate for 16 years retiring in October, 2023 that enabled me to devote all of my time in campaigning for the REFORM UK party in the lead up to the General Election and in South East Cornwall in particular. When I became a Magistrate in 2007, I had to swear on a life time oath, part of which states:'I will do right to all manner of people-without fear or favour, affection or ill will'.
I have previous experience of running a large neighbourhood watch scheme and was involved in two charities for the homeless, managing a large number of volunteers.
I am a former Parish Councillor with St Stephen in Brannel Parish Council where I sat on two committees: planning and human resources. I abide by the Councils' Code of Conduct for public servants, that states I will act with Integrity, Selflessness: Honesty: Accountability: Openness: To Uphold the Law: To demonstrate Leadership, to have Respect for Others and to act Objectively.

From all those experiences I appreciate the issues that are important to residents. I take my role as a public servant seriously. I value honesty, respect and integrity and respect that all people have a right to be heard. Good listening skills is one of my attributes, another is getting things done.
As interim branch manager for South East Cornwall, it is my responsibility to take this constituency forward to the next general election.

COMMON SENSE image COMMON SENSE image COMMON SENSE image
Crime: Crime is out of control as the police cannot keep up with spiraling burglaries, theft and shoplifting, the most common crimes, that are being down-graded and even ignored, but effect so many people. Police are not on top of crime. Criminals are dealt with too leniently. A referendum to ascertain the views of the electorate to building more prisons, deploying more police in high crime areas?

Immigration: New Labours' policy on immigration has failed. We need a national referendum to reduce illegal and legal immigration into this country?

Economy: For too long the economy works for the few, not the many. An overhaul of the way tax is collected from the minority of high earners who treat this country and our taxation system with contempt.

Political Correctness: Most people now believe that they cannot say what they want to say, without fear of reprisals from the 'woke brigade'. A minority who are working towards changing our way of life, by dictating their views on  what we say and how we say it. It is stifling our culture and the way we think. It is creeping into our schools, universities and public institutions. It has to be addressed.

Identity: This country has a unique and distinct culture and history that is slowly being eroded by globalisation and bland liberalism.

Sovereignty: It is not for the elite of this country, but should be powered down to local towns and villages, to more and more local areas for the electorate to be involved in.

Democracy: Are we fully democratic in the way successive governments has managed our country?
Democracy is not for the elite to make decisions, but must be embraced by all of the people, not the few?

I welcome you to join and support REFORM UK. No matter the amount of time you can spare to help in my election campaign, it will be gratefully received.

Electoral campaigns can take many forms. A successful campaign, gets across the message: that REFORM UK means business, that we are not another Me-Too-Party, spouting the same propaganda and rhetoric that political parties espouse in elections and in government.

REFORM UK is uniquely different. Our vision is to change the way politics is done at national and local levels. New policies or the re-cycling of existing policies  and practices, always come with a price tag: More Tax.
Your voluntary help will greatly assist me in becoming the REFORM UK MP for South East Cornwall.
There will be a lot of work to do, but an established team will make that task easier and we can have fun along the journey. Please read the Contract with the People on the last page (Down-load)
